Late Night Tea House
A late-night tea house for ritual, movement, and connection.
Step into an intimate late-night tea house rooted in Cha Dao, ritual, herbalism, and embodied connection. We’ll begin together in silence, receiving bowl tea in small circles held throughout the room. Cha Dao invites us into relationships: with the plant, with the elements, with the moment, with ourselves, and with the people around us. It is gentle, ordinary, and alive. A practice of presence, simplicity, and connection. As the tea settles, the evening will slowly open into movement, mingling, journaling, tarot, sharing, and connection. Music will be woven throughout by a DJ and herbalist, carrying the room from stillness into rhythm, warmth, and expression.
Part tea ceremony, part movement space, part soft social, this gathering is an invitation to slow down and return to what is simple, living, and felt. Through tea, music, seasonal plants, and shared ritual, we bring a sense of the wild into the city and create space for the body to soften, the mind to quiet, and connection to unfold naturally. Co-created by: Jordan Gibb, Jeanelle Guimond, SJ Gooding, and Ananda Enns.
Sound Journey with Pilar
Embrace the gateway to autumn's energy with a 75-minute Sound Journey using crystal bowls, gongs, and other sacred instruments.
A receptivity to our inner world and subtle energy has begun. The Sound Journey, through the use of crystal alchemy bowls and gongs, is an inner journey guided by numerous sounds of different and powerful frequencies, all resonating in different parts of the body. These tones can guide us to a place in which healing and connection to our higher consciousness can take place. A stress release at its deepest level, and it will leave you with a prolonged sense of well-being, in body, mind, and soul.
Please wear comfortable clothing and bring anything that is comforting to rest with.
Grounding Inward: Meditation, Movement, Clay
Join Sasha McDougall and Ess Crossley for a 45 minute restorative Hatha practice with slow, close-to-the-ground, longer-held postures that invite us to turn our attention inward.
Each posture is approached with time and space to explore sensation, breath, and ease while cultivating awareness. We’ll transition into a 30 minute guided clay-making experience. Clay will be distributed as we find a meditation pose and connect with this earth-made material.
We will sip a locally made tea blend from Green Muse while making small pinch pot style tealight holders that will be fired at a local kiln.
Our time together will end with a Yoga Nidra guided meditation practice done lying down that invites deep rest.
Kate Gillespie Weekend
Over two days, Kate Gillespie will guide you through two workshops to deepen your practice and move together.
02:00 PM - 04:00 PM
Redefining Core
Saturday Afternoon. Your core is so much more than sit-ups and a six-pack. It’s an intelligent system of stability - created by multiple muscles working together to manage pressure, posture, and movement. The Stack is a powerful approach to alignment and stabilization that brings the ribcage and pelvis into optimal relationship, stacking the respiratory and pelvic diaphragms. This creates the foundation for a strong, dynamic, and responsive core. You’ll learn how to create intra-abdominal pressure, and the vital role that your hamstrings play in posture. This work goes far beyond your mat practice. It shapes how you move, breathe, and stabilize - every step, every day. All levels welcome.
02:00 PM - 04:00 PM
Master the Hip Shift
Sunday Afternoon. Rotation is at the heart of how we move. Every step you take is a rotation around your midline - pelvis turning over a leg, ribcage turning over the pelvis, an opposite arm to leg swing, and force transferring smoothly across the body. When we lack rotation of the hip, we compensate with rotation of the lumbar spine, which is a major cause of lower back pain. This workshop is about unlocking space and building strength in the back of the pelvis to be able to hip shift. We’ll explore the the cross-corset connection, which is the diagonal relationship between the two sides of the body that creates efficient rotation. You’ll learn how the body organizes rotation through the midline, how the ribcage and pelvis communicate across diagonals, and how breath plays a critical role in activating the obliques and deep core to support rotational control. All levels welcome.
Exhale - Yoga Nidra, Yin, Soundscapes w/ Charlie + Kristyn Rose
Join Kristyn Rose & Charlie Gates for a tender evening of embodied rest and reconnection. Held in the quiet hours of the summer sunset, this two-hour experience weaves together meditation, gentle breathwork, Yin Yoga, Reiki, and Yoga Nidra — supported by live soundscaping and harmonics. Charlie’s immersive sound-making and lullabies — crafted with care and intention — will guide and ground the experience, offering deep nourishment for your nervous system and soul. This is a space for stillness. A space to remember.
To rest not just the body, but the mind, the heart — the parts of you that have been holding so much. To return to the quiet center within and reconnect with the light of who you truly are.
All are welcome. No prior experience needed — just bring your breath, your presence, and a willingness to receive.
Katonah Yoga Immersion w Ben
Join us for an immersive weekend of practice that blends intelligent movement with imagination, and structure with fluidity. Katonah Yoga® is a geometric, metaphor-rich system drawing from multiple lineages including Iyengar Yoga and Taoist philosophy. It offers a clear way to see the body, organize the mind, and inhabit postures with greater awareness.
Expect strong and creative physical movement, skillful use of props, hands-on adjustments, posture labs, restorative practices, journaling and meditation. We’ll also study the Katonah
Magic Square, rooted in ancient Chinese philosophy & numerology, as a framework for mapping the body and mind.
Each day builds on the last. We’ll establish a foundation, then refine and embody the material so it can become part of you moving forward.
Open to teachers and practitioners, no prior experience with Katonah Yoga® required. 15 hours bankable toward a Katonah Yoga® certification and 15 Yoga Alliance CEUs.
Beyond the Fascia w/ Kelly D'Ambrogio
This 2-hour trauma-informed, restorative yoga and somatic experience is designed specifically for individuals navigating knee and hip replacements, chronic pain, injury recovery, or long-
term tension patterns. Blending fascia-informed movement, nervous system regulation, and subtle energetic awareness, this workshop guides participants into intentional lengthening without force.
Rooted in the P.A.U.S.E. Method: Presence, Attention, Unwinding Sensation and Embodiment. Participants will explore gentle mobility, dural flossing, diaphragm release, and supported restorative postures to create sustainable change from the inside out.
Ignite + Restore w/ Kailie + Sam
Join Sam Streeter and Kailie Woods for a embodied adventure of pilates, blend, and deep rest. Expect the first hour to be an upbeat Pilates/Blend practice. We will target the whole body igniting fire, building strength, creating sweat and pulsing to some funky beats. The next hour we will be dedicated to rest and restoration. We will cool the body down with deep breaths, slow movements and long, intentional stretches.
This workshop is the perfect blend of strength, grace and rest. We work towards balancing the Yang (sun) and Yin (moon) energy. Accessible for all bodies, all levels, options given throughout.
Rest Fest w/ Emily Opal
In a world where our worth is deeply attached to our output, the act of rest can feel out of reach. Through this workshop we begin to unravel the conditioning that keeps it so elusive, and start to experience the true rest that is our birthright.
Join Emily for two whole hours of slowing down to receive and rest. She will guide you into classic yin and restorative shapes, interspersed with practical tools to slow down when you are back out in the world. This is for anyone, but especially those who experience anxiety, are overthinkers, and always need to be doing something.
You can expect to leave blissed out, with the tools to access calm on a daily basis.
Yin + Pin w/ Kailie
Drop into a deep, therapeutic Yin practice infused with meditation, breathwork, ancient traditional Chinese medicine theory, self applied acupressure, deep breaths, & slow transitions. Gentle, restorative, medicinal acupuncture points will be provided while in a deep, long savasana. Workshop is guided by certified Yoga instructor and Registered Acupuncturist Kailie Woods. Workshop can be submitted to those with extended health benefits.

Echoes of Stillness: A Progressive Journey of Flow + Vibration
Join Elysia and Cody as we bridge the gap between the day’s momentum and the evenings restoration with this multi-sensory experience.
This journey is designed to unwind tension and harmonize your nervous system through a seamless blend of movement and sound. We begin with a mindful, progressive flow—moving with intention to release physical blockages and ground your energy.
Then a transition into long-held restorative shapes supported by props, allowing the body to melt into stillness. As you settle, the studio transforms into a sanctuary of sound. The rich, layered frequencies of singing bowls, gongs, and chimes create a "vibrational bridge," guiding your brain waves into a state of deep, meditative recovery.

The Giving Ocean
The Giving Ocean A fundraiser in celebration Of World Oceans Day - June 13, The Lab Victoria
The ocean nurtures us, nourishes us, inspires us, and protects us. This evening is our chance to give something back.
The Giving Ocean brings together art, food, conversation, and community in support of ocean conservation — and is itself a love letter to the sea.
At the heart of the evening is a pop-up art exhibition titled The Giving Ocean, inspired by Shel Silverstein's beloved The Giving Tree, featuring local artists working across multiple media, each reflecting the many ways the ocean shapes life, livelihood, emotion, and community.
The evening includes:
Pop-up art exhibition featuring multiple local artists across different media
Live poem reading by Victoria poet laureate Marie Metaphor, giving the ocean a voice
Silent auction
Panel of speakers including Katie (Last Name), athlete and ocean advocate with Surfrider, and Aki Kaltenbach, the founder behind vegan seafood brand Save Da Sea — more to be announced
Oyster bar with buck-a-shuck by Shuck Taylor's and a grazing table presented by Finest at Sea, with plant-based seafood spreads by Save Da Sea
Non-alcoholic cash bar presented by Fizz
Door prize
And more, with support from a range of local sponsors and partners
Your ticket directly supports ocean conservation. Proceeds to be distributed among Surfrider Foundation, Georgia Strait Alliance, and SeaLegacy — and attendees vote on the fourth recipient on the night.
Come and go as you please throughout the evening. A full schedule will be posted so you can plan around the speakers, the readings, or simply the oysters. Any amount of time — and any level of support — is warmly welcomed.
We look forward to seeing you at The Lab Victoria on June 13.
Mobility Immersions w/ Emily Opal
Join Mobility Instructor Emily Opal for two weekend immersions this June: Mobility Foundations and Mobility for Teachers.
Mobility is a practice that can unlock freedom in our bodies in versatile and accessible ways; it can be done anywhere with minimal to no equipment, and does not need a huge time commitment to experience results.
It is truly for anyone who is interested in increasing their capacity to make space to do all the things they love! The mobility approach helps to stabilize joints, increase coordination, increase physical freedom, and help bolster against injury; often leaving you feeling like you just had a massage.
The first weekend immersion will focus on building our foundation, resulting in a deeper understanding of how we can apply this practice for ourselves at home. This weekend is for anyone who desires to learn more about Mobility as self-practice; no anatomy, teaching, or mobility experience required.
Our second weekend is focussed towards taking the information we've already learned and applying it to sharing with others. With completion of this weekend, you will be able to teach mobility practices (should you desire to teach!). Often the most powerful way to deeply embody a topic is to learn how to teach it.
Mobility Foundations
Friday, June 5th - 6-8pm
Saturday, June 6th - 1-7pm
Sunday, June 7th - 1-7pm
Mobility for Teachers
