What movement styles or teacher have influenced you?
Before yoga, there was dance. I grew up as a lifelong dancer, and movement was my first language - rhythm, breath, expression, devotion. That foundation still lives in the way I teach and move today.
My practice has been shaped by Vinyasa, TCM-inspired Yin, slow flow, and deeply embodied somatic movement. I’m drawn to spaces where you can truly feel yourself, where breath becomes the rhythm and the body becomes the teacher. I love the devotional fluidity of flow just as much as I love the steady discipline of Hatha and Ashtanga.
At the root of it all is my mother, Shanti, who first showed me that movement can be prayer.
Teachers who have profoundly shaped me include Meghan Currie, Persia Juliet, Ashton Szabo, Tracey Noseworthy, Jonni-Lyn, Pilar Munroz, and Kimber Allen. Each of them has left fingerprints on my practice, and I carry their teachings with deep gratitude.
What training has been the most impactful to your teaching style?
I completed my teacher training at The Lab alongside many of the teachers who continue to inspire me. Since then, I’ve traveled to Bali, Vancouver, and throughout Vancouver Island to sit at the feet of different lineages and perspectives. Practicing Yin with Persia Juliet in Bali and now continuing that mentorship on Salt Spring Island, profoundly influenced the way I weave Traditional Chinese Medicine into my classes.
Discovering Yoga Nidra (yoga sleep) changed my life. It softened something in me. As a lifelong learner, I immersed myself in a deep self-study and now gently thread Nidra into almost every class I teach. Rest, to me, is revolutionary.
What can people expect from your classes?
Candlelit ambiance, trance-inspired music, meditation, ritual, devotion, and space to soften into yourself. My classes are grounding, sensory, and intentional, designed to help you land in your body and leave feeling connected and restored.
What do you currently teach? What do you practice?
I currently teach Restore on Wednesdays at The Lab, but you may also see me subbing a plethora of classes!
In my personal practice, I move through many styles: Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Hatha (roots), Pilates, Yin, mobility, and blend practices. I feel deeply grateful for this practice and the opportunity to continue learning and evolving within it.

What movement styles or teacher have influenced you?
I’m deeply influenced by Vinyasa traditions, as well as somatic and breath-based practices. I’m inspired by teachers who weave philosophy, intelligent sequencing, and nervous system awareness into embodied, meaningful movement.
What training has been the most impactful to your teaching style?
My foundational Yoga Teacher Training shaped my understanding of yoga philosophy, alignment and sequencing, while continued studies in mobility, barre, sound and somatics have most impacted the depth, pacing, and intentionality of my classes.
What can people expect from your classes?
Thoughtful sequencing, strong breath guidance, and clear alignment cue. Creating a Playlist for you is one of my favourite things! My classes balance challenge and softness, inviting students to feel grounded, present, and deeply connected to themselves.
What do you currently teach? What do you practice?
I currently teach Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, restorative, mobility, and barre and blend. My personal practice blends strength, fluidity, breathwork, and slower nervous system-supportive work.

What movement styles or teacher have influenced you?
I personally love and have been gratefully influenced by a variety of different movement styles! It’s a gift to be able to choose a different style to match the energy of the day or season. I love a slow, grounded Hatha practice one day, a hot Pilates the next and of course a spicy Vinyasa. I’m constantly learning and growing as a student and influenced by all the talented instructors this city has to offer.
What training has been the most impactful to your teaching style?
Yin training really made me step out of my comfort zone and encouraged me to pause and go inwards. Stillness is humbling, challenging and powerful, not always easy for a person like me who always seem to be on the move!
What can people expect from your classes?
I love to create a safe practice room where community comes together to celebrate movement and breath! My classes are strength/alignment based infused with playfulness and creativity. I welcome all levels, offer options throughout and encourage students to get out of their head & back into their hearts.
What do you currently teach? What do you practice?
I currently teach all styles including Pilates, Blend, Flow, Hatha, Yin and Pre-Natal. I’m currently teaching Pilates at the Lab and feel so honoured to be part of this community!

What movement styles or teacher have influenced you?
Restorative, Yin and Somatic Sound. Very grateful to my teachers from throughout the years SJ Gooding, Tianne Allan, Lucy St. John Charlie Gates, and of course the multitude of incredible teachers I get to share space with who offer their wisdom.
What training has been the most impactful to your teaching style?
Learning about restorative yoga really opened my heart to the possibilities of a slow and intentional practice. Even in the most seemingly passive shapes there is so much happening in our bodies if we can take the time to listen.
What can people expect from your classes?
I always try to create classes that feel accessible for a diverse range of bodies and experiences, incorporating grounded heart-led movement always with a focus on the nervous system. All are welcome :)
What do you currently teach? What do you practice?
I currently teach Restore, Flow + Restore, and Queer Karma. My own practice really depends on what my body and spirit are needing. I love the slow practices of yin and restorative especially when paired with sound and also love the challenge of Pilates and more dynamic yoga flows.

I have been inspired by so many different teachers over the years. But my yoga journey began by learning from Vancouver yoga legends Megan Currie, Christine Price Clark and Clara Roberts Oss who helped me fall in love w a beautiful and flowy Anusara inspired vinyasa practice. What movement styles or teacher have influenced you?
Originally Modo trained, a slow, hot, hatha practice (roots) always feels like home. On the flip side, I love movement that helps drop you out of your head and into your body, whether I’m taking group yoga/ fitness classes or rolling out my mat at home
What training has been the most impactful to your teaching style?
I think my first training, Modo level one, at Modo Yoga LA, had the biggest impact on not only my teaching style but my life and the trajectory it would have from there on out.
What can people expect from your classes?
A great playlist (everyone says that hahah)… that will build with the heat of the room, journeying you through strong, breath-led, shapes and movements, and ease you into slow stretches and rest. My hope is, you’ll leave feeling with a sense of gratitude towards yourself for showing up and putting the work in, knowing it doesn’t only benefit you, but all that you come in contact with.

What movement styles or teacher have influenced you?
My teachers in Thailand when I lived in monasteries in my twenties have stayed with me in many ways, along with the other practices of meditation that I have explored in my life (Zen and Vipassana). Every style of moment that I’ve trained in or class that I’ve taken has left its imprint. I feel this on many levels in my life.
