june: a new season
As we move toward summer and begin a new schedule and season together at the studio, I’ve been reflecting deeply on the idea of integration. Not just what we practice on the mat, but how we carry those lessons into our everyday lives.
Over the past few weeks in Portugal completing an advanced yoga training, one of the most meaningful takeaways wasn’t about achieving more physically, but about the importance of slowing down, staying open, and living with integrity. In a world that constantly encourages urgency and performance, there is something deeply transformative about learning to listen more closely, move more intentionally, and remain connected to ourselves and each other.
As a community, summer often invites us into a different rhythm. More spaciousness. More reflection. More opportunities to reconnect with what nourishes us. My hope for this next semester at our studio is that we continue cultivating spaces where vulnerability, honesty, growth, play, rest, and connection are all welcome; both inside and outside the practice room.
Because yoga is never just about the poses. It’s about how we show up for ourselves, our relationships, and our community when life inevitably asks us to practice what we’ve learned.
I’m incredibly excited for what this next season holds for all of us and so grateful to continue growing alongside this community.
with love,
Sheena
