april: change is in the air
April arrives with a different kind of energy.
There’s more light now. The days stretch a little further, and the pace begins to pick up. What began as subtle movement in March starts to take clearer form.
This month also marks a personal shift for me as I’ll be away from the studio for five weeks. This time away is an investment in my role as a student, as I begin my 300-hour teacher training in Portugal. A return to learning, to being guided, and to deepening the practice that shapes so much of what we offer here.
While I’m away, the studio continues to move through an important period of transition, held with steadiness and care by Charlie, who continues to lead the space so wholeheartedly.
Over the next two weeks, we will complete our shift to Mariana Tek. As with any change, there may be moments of uncertainty or discomfort as we find our footing with a new system. We ask for your patience during this time and your trust that this transition is in service of something better — a more streamlined, intuitive booking experience that supports your practice with greater ease.
We are also moving through a period of transition within our studio team. Change, while sometimes uncomfortable, is often where refinement and growth take place. The intention remains the same: to hold a space that is steady, welcoming, and rooted in connection.
Even as things shift, what makes this studio what it is does not change.
The practice continues. The room holds. The community carries.
Thank you for being part of it and for moving with us through these moments of evolution.
I’ll see you in the practice.
With love,
Sheena
